Rachel has made an impact speaking at conferences and events large and small. Her recent speaking engagements include addressing audiences at the national Chemwash conference, and the annual conference of the Holiday Parks Association of New Zealand. Rachel has spoken to the New Zealand Institute of Legal Executives, been a panellist for Internet New Zealand at NetHui, and has engaged with students at Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology, seeking careers in the digital space. Rachel's talks range from technical to inspirational. Topics can include utilising the online space for marketing, social media, online advertising, and latest technology developments to improve business performance. As the Director of Dubzz and recipient of the 2015 Emerging Young Leader of the Year at the Westpac Business Awards, Rachel also enjoys addressing audiences on the topic of organisational leadership.
We have had Rachel from Dubzz speak at two of our National Chemwash Conferences, about marketing using the online space for our industry. What we appreciated most was that Rachel took a technical subject and explained it in plain English, enabling our operators of varying age and technical ability to understand both the current and future opportunities available. Rachel spoke at one of our Connect events about her business journey. Her talk was enjoyable and very relatable. It was a raw, honest account of the struggles faced when starting a business. Rachel had the audience nodding their heads in agreement, and provided some key takeaway lessons. Overall a great speaker and we would happily have her back in the future to speak again.
