The Challenge

Grinter’s Funeral Home is based in Cambridge and is dedicated to providing excellent funeral care to their community.

Grinter’s approached Dubzz for help developing and implementing a long-term marketing strategy to increase the exposure of their brand and accessibility of their services. They had an existing website and Facebook page, and had also been running Google Ads. However, they felt that their online marketing could benefit from a more cohesive approach across all platforms.

Our Approach

Dubzz began by developing an online marketing strategy focused on meeting their marketing goals. We implemented this strategy across all their online channels, bringing a consistent voice with relevant content to each platform.

Then, Grinter’s wanted to develop their business by expanding their offering to also include more online features, based around dedicated online tribute webpages for each funeral. These pages needed to include:
• Live streaming of the funeral
• Details about the funeral
• A downloadable service sheet
• Memorial videos or other media used at the service
• The ability for anyone to leave a message of support or tribute
• A link to the person’s chosen charity to facilitate donations in their honour

Each of these features required customised functionality on the website. However, their existing website was built using a different provider, whose software did does not allow for specialised functionality like this.

In order to deliver these new features, Dubzz built Grinter’s a new website that was designed specifically to meet their evolving business needs. As Grinter’s was happy with the general look of their old site, Dubzz built the new website in line with their existing branding, while seamlessly integrating the new functionality.

The Results

Since starting with Dubzz, Grinter’s has seen their website visits increase each month, experiencing over 500% growth since their first month with Dubzz. Visitors to the websites are also spending longer on the sites and viewing more pages.

Enquiries through the website have also continually increased since Grinter’s began working with Dubzz.

Engagement on Facebook has improved as well. The number of users clicking through from Facebook to view the website has more than doubled, and they are regularly receiving positive engagement on their ads and posts.
