Minginui Nursery

Summary

Minginui Nursery is a pure native tree nursery located on the edge of the Whirinaki Forest. They produce over a million native tree seedlings every year for regenerative planting. Seedlings are able to be shipped throughout Aotearoa, both on a commercial and residential scale. Minginui Nursery had an out-of-date website that didn’t accurately reflect the offering available to the public, and was also hard for the team to update. Ngāti Whare Holdings, the owners of Minginui Nursery, approached Dubzz for assistance in developing a new website in line with their updated branding. Once the site was built, they wanted to promote the sale of seedlings throughout New Zealand with a Google Ads campaign.

Our Approach

Dubzz began by meeting with members of the Ngāti Whare Holdings team to understand the organisation, and what it was they were trying to achieve with the new site. We then established a plan to design and build a new website to share their unique story with Aotearoa. Based around their new branding developed by David Jones Creative, the website needed to be clear, easy to use, and appeal to a wide audience. This target audience includes the likes of farmers, corporates, iwi groups, conservationists, right through to your leisure garden consumer. The website also needed to be developed so that it is easy for the team to update stock information based on seasons and current levels of inventory. Once the website was live, we implemented a Google Ads campaign to promote both the variety and quantities of native seedlings available to the public.

Results

Minginui Nursery now has a modern, professional website that clearly shows the native tree seedlings currently available. The site is mobile friendly and is easy for the team to update as stock levels change. Consumers can submit orders or enquiries through the site, and arrange to collect or have seedlings shipped to them around New Zealand.

Google Ads are driving high quality traffic to the website, increasing awareness of the offering and enquiries by the general public to purchase seedlings.

With their new website now live and the Google Ads in place, Minginui Nursery are receiving enquiries through the contact form, and are seeing great engagement throughout the site.
