The Challenge

Papatūānuku Support Services is a Rotorua Charitable Trust dedicated to supporting whānau experiencing family harm or generational trauma. Through their all-of-whānau approach, they run wānanga and mentoring programmes to help whānau achieve their full potential. After three years of operation without a website, Papatūānuku approached Dubzz to help establish their online presence, raise awareness of their support services, showcase their funders, and engage with the local community.

Our Approach

Dubzz recommended creating a custom, mobile-friendly website with a clear information structure and strong calls to action. The goal was to help visitors easily understand Papatūānuku Support Services' mission and the support available. The design aimed to deliver a professional and accessible platform while emphasising their core value of whānau as a unified unit.

The website’s development focused on engaging the Rotorua community through a kaupapa Māori perspective. Key features included a donation page for community support and a documents section for easy file sharing and downloads. As this was the trust's first website, the About page effectively highlighted their mission, vision, and values, while also introducing the team members. The Results

The website effectively embodies the organisation’s mission and values, offering users intuitive navigation to explore services and easily get in touch. We developed a custom-branded design that aligns with their current marketing materials and supports their vision for future growth. The site also includes a streamlined admin portal, enabling their team to efficiently update and expand it as the Charitable Trust continues to evolve.
