The Challenge

Te Rangihakahaka is an exciting new education initiative and Rotorua’s first Partnership School which opened in February 2018. The complexity of opening a new school quickly became apparent as the needs for the new website were discussed. They urgently needed an online presence to provide further information to the public, and to capture expressions of interest for new students. The new website needed to be simple to use yet scalable, allowing the addition of extra information and features as the centre advances in its development.

Our Approach

We worked alongside the team at Te Rangihakahaka to develop a fast, mobile friendly website that conveys their kaupapa. To achieve the time pressures, we built the new website in stages as content was available and used intuitive integrations such as Google forms to capture registrations for new students which could be easily processed. Using WordPress as the CMS for the website also means the website can be easily updated by Te Rangihakahaka staff and allows for further integrations to the website as needed.

The Results

A mobile friendly website that is easy for the team to administrate, and successfully captured interest.

All their available spaces for new students were filled, and they have a waiting list for their next intake.
