The Challenge

Nduro Events is a Rotorua-based event promotion company who organise high-quality mountain biking and running events in the Bay of Plenty region. Nduro took over a running event called We Run the Night and wanted to meet the goal of selling 1,000 tickets.

Our Approach

We suggested highly targeted Facebook advertising and Google display campaigns to help Nduro meet their ticket sale goals. We set up and used custom audiences which had a higher chance of conversion. We ran the Facebook advertising and Google Display campaigns for Nduro, while they self- managed their organic social media posts, website and email database.
We Run the Night

The Results

We Run the Night was a huge success, with the event reaching capacity and selling out of registrations.

The Facebook campaigns were successful in reaching tens of thousands of people throughout the campaign,  sending thousands of visitors to the website. The Facebook campaigns made up 33% of the total website traffic for this period and had the highest conversion rate of visitors purchasing tickets.

With over 179,000 impressions the Google Display campaigns proved to be a great branding and lead generation tool with a conversion rate of 12%.
