Whare Honey

Summary

Whare Honey produce premium pure New Zealand mānuka, kānuka, wildflower, rewarewa and clover honey from hives across New Zealand’s North Island. From their base in Te Awamutu, they foster an environment for quality, eco-friendly, and socially responsible honey. Ngāti Whare Holdings, the owners of Whare Honey, approached Dubzz for assistance in developing a new website in line with their updated branding to help promote and sell their honey to consumers both in New Zealand, and based around the world. Once the site was built, they wanted to promote the sale of their honey throughout New Zealand with a Google Ads campaign.

Our Approach

Services: Website Development, Google Ads Dubzz began by meeting with members of the Ngāti Whare Holdings team to understand the organisation, and what it was they were trying to achieve with the new site. We looked at examples of what they liked and didn’t like in e-commerce platforms, and developed a design that would showcase the unique, premium products they had on offer. The website needed to be able to sell items straight to the customer, and share information on honey uses and the unique flavour profiles of their products. Once the website was live, we implemented a Google Ads campaign to promote both the variety and quantities of retail honey available to the public.

Results

Whare Honey now has a website that reflects their premium offering in a professional, clean and simple way. Customers can browse the product offering and purchase honey to be delivered directly to their door.

The WordPress and WooCommerce platforms ensure that the website is easy to use for both customers and for the team at Whare Honey to process orders. With a mobile friendly design, security certificate, and integrated payment gateway, orders can now be received from around the globe – creating more opportunities for people to enjoy the high-quality products on offer.

Google Ads are now driving high quality traffic to the website, increasing awareness of the offering to have delicious, premium New Zealand honey delivered directly to your door.
