This subsidy, available through the Regional Business Partner (RBP) Network, is designed to help small and medium-sized businesses strengthen their business skills, leading to improved efficiency and growth.

Eligibility:
There are a number of criteria to meet to be eligible for support from this fund:
- Have undergone a discovery session with a Regional Business Partner growth advisor
- Have fewer than 50 full-time equivalent employees
- Be registered for GST in New Zealand
- Have a New Zealand Business Number (NZBN)
- Be operating in a commercial environment, meaning you are currently trading
- Be a privately owned business, a Māori Trust or incorporation under Te Ture Whenua Māori Act 1993 or similar organisation managing Māori assets under multiple ownership
How to Apply:
The three steps of application:
- Engage with an RBP Growth Advisor who assesses your business needs. There are different growth advisors in each area of New Zealand.
- Set development goals with your advisor to map out key areas for improvement.
- Apply for funding with guidance from your advisor, who assists throughout the process.
