Dubzz gets behind Harcourts Dancing with Stars 2018

It's one of the biggest nights of the year...

We are proud to announce that Dubzz Digital Marketing is the official couple sponsor of David and Kylie at the upcoming Harcourts Dancing with the Stars 2018! Now leading up to the third edition, Rotorua’s Dancing with the Stars has been a highlight of the Rotorua event calendar over the last two years. The stars in question are 20 local identities, who go through four months of rigorous dance training before performing their new moves in front of a huge crowd on the 28th of July.

While Dancing with the Stars is a thoroughly enjoyable night for both attendees and participants, it’s all for a fantastic cause. The main purpose of the event is to raise funds for Hospice, and to build awareness of all the great work they do in the Rotorua community. Making over 10,000 home visits per year, they provide care and support for anyone living with a life limiting condition. The service is offered completely free of charge, so all proceeds from this great event will go towards the continuation of this support for patients and their whanau.

Harcourts Dancing with the Stars has never been without the Dubzz touch too, as we’ve been official event sponsors and managed the event’s social media presence over the last two years. After two successful events, we are super excited to be an official couple sponsor this time around!

But who is this couple?

First up is our very own David Remmerswaal. David is our Operations Manager and has been part of the Dubzz team for over five years now. After attending Dancing with the Stars for its first two years and seeing how much the event does for the community, he thought it would be a great idea to help out by being a part of the show.

Kylie Allpress works as an ambulance officer with St John, so is no stranger to community work. She simply saw Dancing with the Stars as a great opportunity to help Hospice, who give so much love and support back to the people of Rotorua.

So far they have found the dancing to be enjoyable yet challenging, but we’re sure they’ll both do really well on the night.

Good luck David and Kylie, we are proud of you and all the effort you are putting in. We hope you enjoy the night!
