The new Rotorua Community Hospice website provides a welcoming port of call for all aspects of Rotorua Community Hospice. The site’s easy navigation and thoughtful structure allow users to find a depth of information in just a few clicks, encouraging engagement and action for patients, whānau and community members alike. Mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility allow easy access to the Hospice website resources from any device. The website also provides a dynamic publishing platform for Hospice events, including the popular Harcourts Dancing for Hospice event, which raised over $400,000 for Rotorua Hospice in 2018.
For Hospice staff, the custom-built administrative interface and integration with their Infoodle Community Management System means a reduction in time spent updating the website and managing the database. A more user-friendly interface with clear calls to action also encourages increased donations, with Hospice receiving their first online donation within 24 hours of the new website launch.
