The Challenge

Taumarunui Funeral Services has been creating meaningful farewells in the King Country since 1975, and was recently purchased by new owner Stephen McMahon. With no website, emails or social media accounts, Stephen recognised the need to develop an online presence and ensure that people of Taumarunui could find the information they were looking for, when they needed it.

Taumarunui Funeral Services approached Dubzz to develop a new website to display the new branding, share information on the business to reassure local people of the change of ownership, and encourage a continued community relationship with Taumarunui Funeral Services.

Our Approach

We worked with Taumarunui Funeral Services to develop a fresh, mobile-friendly website with clear Calls to Action that improves online presence and helps families access the services offered with relevant information.

Taumarunui Funeral Services wanted to showcase funeral and memorial services, and include a dedicated tributes and notices page that serves as a place where stories are shared about loved ones, and funerals are able to be viewed via live stream by those who cannot attend in person.

The Results

This project has delivered an improved public profile and increased access to information about funeral services in Taumarunui. The new website design and content structure make it easy to find relevant information for all ages and abilities.
