The Challenge

Rotorua Taxis is a well-known taxi service in Rotorua and has been serving the community for nearly 100 years. They were already running Google Ads but wanted improved results, so they approached Dubzz in February to take over their campaign.

Rotorua Taxis were also wanting to update their website to encourage more online bookings and enquiries.

Our Approach

Dubzz took over Rotorua Taxis’ Google Ads campaign and focused on increasing bookings through targeting relevant Google searches and decreasing cost per enquiry.

We have made significant website updates to the Rotorua Taxis website in line with their business goals, including incorporating bright, engaging calls-to-action on the website to encourage phone calls and online bookings. The website now communicates the brand’s key selling points more clearly and concisely, highlighting their services, dedication to customer service, special prices, testimonials, new booking engine and more.

The optimised Google Ads campaign and the refreshed website work in conjunction to bring more customers to the website and encourage them to book.

The Results

Since we took over their Google Ads campaign, Rotorua Taxis receive an enquiry for every $0.17 spent. This is less than half of what they used to pay for a conversion.

Over the first three months, we achieved the same number of direct phone calls as the previous quarter, all for 65% less cost.

Our web updates have also optimised their website for search engine results. Their organic search traffic has increased by 20% when compared to the last quarter.
