Summary

Korowai Aroha is a kaupapa Māori health centre based in Rotorua offering health services within the local community. Korowai Aroha specialises in alignment with seven identified kaupapa principles, providing the best care possible to their patients. Korowai Aroha had an outdated website that lacked the ability to showcase the comprehensive services they provide, and how their patients can access them. Patients were unaware of the offering and how they could best be supported by Korowai Aroha, without talking to one of the team there.

Our Approach

We worked with Korowai Aroha to develop a modern website with a clear, concise user-friendly design. Implementing a refreshed, mobile-friendly design and updated content structure to develop a new website that has improved brand communication and helps patients access services. With Te Reo Māori integrated throughout, we provided easy access to view and update healthcare services on offer, as well as providing the team with appropriate places to load resource information for their patients and to share the latest news or Pānui.

Results

This project has delivered an improved public profile and increased access to kaupapa Māori healthcare in Rotorua. The revamped design and content structure facilitate easy-to-find information for all ages and abilities, access to useful resources, news, and knowledge about other services also available from the team at Korowai Aroha.
The website is simple for the Korowai Aroha team to administer, ensuring it is easy for information to always remain up to date and relevant.
This enables a stronger connection with both current and potential patients, funders, and whānau.
