The Challenge

Established in 1987, Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Pikiao Trust offers programs and services to improve the health and well-being of the people in the Ngāti Pikiao rohe. They approached Dubzz with a website concept but needed further assistance in developing their content structure and overall brand representation.

Our Approach

We proposed that Te Rūnanga O Ngāti Pikiao create a new, custom website to align with their brand and present a streamlined structure. We developed a custom style guide document to ensure consistent brand presentation across the site. We also worked closely with their team to effectively showcase their diverse range of services.

Our primary focus was on delivering a flexible and customizable editing interface. This allowed each team to curate and present information relevant to their unique audience. The integration of Te Reo Māori across the website reflects the Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Pikiao kaupapa. An easy, visually appealing navigation experience helps visitors find the content they need.

The Results

Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Pikiao now has a user-friendly website that is easy to maintain, providing a modern and professional online presence. This project has enhanced their public profile and made it more user-friendly for key stakeholders. Custom-tailored training sessions will empower the Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Pikiao team to confidently make updates to their new website, ensuring their audience can access up-to-date information in one convenient location.

As well as being professional, very friendly, and easy to work with, Dubzz kaimahi offered a range of lay-outs/colours/font sizes for us to use in the development stages.  This was followed up by ‘page previews’ until we were comfortable with the final layout.  The capability to make expeditious changes via email was an excellent communication tool, as we were able to preview changes almost at the minute, and therefore make decisions regarding what our website would look like.

This was followed-up by clear, instructional training with Rūnanga staff, which enables us to make website changes as and when required.  We also have a training manual, but should we become ‘stuck’ we can contact Dubzz to seek advice on how to make a change.
